Ryan Seacrest Productions, Bravo, and "Shahs of Sunset"

Ryan Seacrest Productions and Bravo announced today that, in response to the crew’s organizing campaign, the network would be taking over the production of “Shahs of Sunset” from RSP. The production company went on to say that it “will be unable to continue working with the editors that were previously engaged on this production.”

The right to organize, including the right to strike, is enshrined in federal law. It is an egregious violation of the law for any employer to discharge or otherwise retaliate against employees for exercising their right to organize. The Editors Guild and IATSE will aggressively defend the rights of our membership against all such violations.

Ultimately, today’s announcements from the network and production company change nothing. Regardless of whether RSP or Bravo is in charge, the crew of “Shahs of Sunset” remains on strike. Until there is a union contract, there will be no “Shahs.”

The Editors Guild instructs all members and prospective members to refrain from servicing "Shahs of Sunset" for the duration of this strike.
